David P. Campanile is an associate attorney with DeTommaso Law Group. He joined the firm in October 2019. Prior to joining, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence P. DeBello, J.S.C., Chancery Division- Family Part in Mercer County. There, he gained exposure to all aspects of family law including juvenile delinquency, contempt of restraining orders, final restraining orders, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

As a law student, David was a 2L representative for the Public Interest Law Student Association. He spent his rising 3L summer interning with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney working for DCF-North. In addition, he worked for his father’s law firm handling different aspects of pre- and post-marital agreements and parenting time. During his 3L year, David was a clinical law student at the Rutgers Law School Civil Justice Clinic; whereby, he handled Social Security matters. Under the supervision of his professor, David saw a case to conclusion and was victorious in gaining Social Security benefits for his client. Furthermore, he also drafted an appellate brief to the Federal District Court of New Jersey appealing an Administrative Law Judge’s ruling to terminate his client’s Social Security Benefits, after his client turned 18 years of age.

David was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in March 2019.
