Michael DeTommaso is a family law and divorce attorney and founding Partner of DeTommaso Law Group, LLC in New Jersey. Since being admitted, Mr. DeTommaso has represented countless clients with family issues throughout the State of New Jersey including divorces, complex equitable distribution and support matters, child custody and parenting time. He has been awarded the designation of Certified Matrimonial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, which is a designation achieved by only 2% of the attorneys in the State of New Jersey. 

Mr. DeTommaso has earned a reputation throughout New Jersey as a relentless and aggressive litigator. He is known for his strategic representation in divorce and family law matters. One of the core values of the firm Mr. DeTommaso founded is the implementation of strategies tailored to the unique facts and circumstances of each individual client’s case as they apply to the case and statutory law in the State of New Jersey.

Mr. DeTommaso has appeared in family courts across New Jersey, and he utilizes his knowledge of the Rules of Court and discovery to aggressively investigate an opponent’s income and assets. This is an extension of another core value of the DeTommaso Law Group, which is to place each of the firm’s clients in a position to make an informed decision as to all of the issues in the case by aggressively pursuing discovery of all relevant information relating to the other party’s income, assets, and liabilities.

Mr. DeTommaso is a highly-skilled, respected, and feared trial attorney. He has successfully tried cases before judges throughout the State of New Jersey. In fact, he has been a sought after lecturer by other members of the legal profession to teach them effective methods of trial preparation and advocacy.
