Nicole Piccoli

Associate Attorney

Nicole S. Piccoli, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at DeTommaso Law Group. She joined the firm in March 2024. Nicole graduated college at Temple University with high honors and was the 1998 Graduating Class Speaker. She then moved on to Boston University School of Law where she specialized in litigation practice, and upon graduation, Nicole was awarded E. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar Title.

Prior to joining DeTommaso Law Group, Nicole practiced law as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey for over 11 years. She regularly appeared in Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Mercer Counties. Nicole then went on to become a Hearing Officer for the Judiciary where she presided over Violation of Probation matters as well as Domestic Violence cases. She has also mediated cases involving child custody and parenting time. Nicole taught the Parents’ Education Program while at the Judiciary where she helped individuals to understand the court process while going through a divorce with minor children. Most recently, Nicole has worked as an associate for a NJ Family Law Firm.

Nicole is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association as well as the Somerset Bar Association. Nicole has regularly given trainings to colleagues on best practices within family law.

Nicole is an experienced litigator who can handle cases inside and outside a courtroom. She chose family law because she feels deep empathy with clients who are struggling to find a new normal while navigating the legal process.
